Big Lots Headquarters

Columbus, OH 2018

Architecture, Interior Architecture

The Big Lots Headquarters was a Revit based project that spanned over 300,000 sq.ft of office space and 860 sq.ft of garage space. Big Lots had outgrown their previous headquarters and were looking for an upgrade that would reflect the quality of their brand. My project team was able to achieve their goals and put together a beautiful building that boasted a dynamic, collaborative environment. My specific tasks for this project were designing a time-less exterior of the building that complimented the interior office layout. I also worked with the project lead to visit the old Big Lots headquarters and speak to people individually to understand their needs and space requirements.

Gorilla Glue Headquarters

Cincinnati, OH 2016

Interior Architecture

The Gorilla Glue company reached out to M+A Architects for help on designing their new office space. They purchased a building that had a great amount of space, but needed a major face lift. This was a 44,000 sq. ft project located in Cincinnati, Ohio that was competed in 2016. Myself and one other interior designer laid out and designed the space for their new office. We also worked closely with our design team to create an experiential design that really brought out the personalities of the company and the brothers who run it.

The Ohio State University

Various Projects

Throughout my time at The Ohio State University, I was tasked with planning for updating existing buildings as well as our various expansion projects. The main project I worked on was renovating the campus' law building, Saxbe Auditorium. I put together a low cost design upgrade to the existing building.

The other image shown was part of a larger expansion project the university was researching that would update the main street that leads to the campus. This storefront image was used to help raise money to fund the project.

Examples of work completed at M+A Architects and at The Ohio State University. These images were used to help the client understand what their final product will look like. The colored graphics were also used as a tool to help with the biding process to show color, texture, and layout.
